Monday 19th September is a Bank Holiday to mark the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Therefore the GP surgery will be closed.  For urgent health needs contact NHS 111 online, www.111.nhs.uk, or ring the surgery number to be connected with the out of hours team. The surgery will reopen as normal on Tuesday 20th September at 7.30am.

The Surgery will close for staff training on (usually) the 1st or 2nd Thursday (occasionally Wednesday) every month. Please note that these dates are subject to change as per Oldham CCG. The Practice will be CLOSED from 1.00pm until 7.30am the following day.

If you need to order a repeat prescription please email oldccg.scriptrequest@nhs.net, please only contact the surgery to order medication if you are unable to email your request. Prescriptions take 48 hours to be processed.

Minor Surgery

The practice has several GPs who run minor surgery clinics at the centre. These clinics are for the removal of moles, lumps and bumps and ingrowing toe nails.

Dr Vance and Dr Bhatt run specific Minor Surgery Clinics on certain Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

We also give joint injections at the practice; Dr Beard, Dr Vance, Dr Ahmad & Dr Mohammad are able to offer this service. Patients may require a double appointment if either they have not had that particular joint or soft tissue area injected before or if they are requiring injections at more than one site. Please check with the receptionsist when booking. 

Another service is cryotherapy where we can freeze warts etc.  This is run once a month with a follow up appointment the following week.
